I have been painting a re-creation of one of my most recent works today. Since a customer tried to purchase one of my paintings that has been ear-marked for an exhibition this month, I contacted him and arranged to paint another one instead. He seemed very happy with this and today I made a start on it. The time-consuming part is waiting for each area of colour to dry before starting on the next, and then building up the layers of colours to make sure each area has enough depth.
Feeling a bit tired today and I think I may have a cold coming on, so will continue in the morning with this job.
