I started the year with good intentions (after a stressful 2008 trying to sell my house). Things haven’t gone quite to plan, but my intentions remain, though at this stage they are still mainly just that, intentions rather than actions.
Main plans photography wise are to try harder to get noticed!
I aim to participate in more competitions and exhibitions whenever the opportunity arises. This will include making entries in national and international photographic competitions (BPE and FIAP sponsored), though initially only in the UK hosted internationals until I have a better idea how they work. I’ll also be entering the Cotswold Monochrome Salon – not that I’ve yet had any success with them. I’ve also submitted an entry into the ‘Capture Manchester’ competition, which should hopefully lead to participation in the associated exhibition in April. And I’ll be submitting to selected photography magazines.
I have started to clear up the kitchen garden, neglected for 18 months or so, and have a few things in the ground to hopefully provide some vegetables later in the year, so not everything is still in the ‘pending’ tray!
