I have just filled out an entry form for an exhibition to be held at the Queen’s Centre for Oncology & Haematology at Castle Hill Hospital, East Yorkshire. The exhibition is being organised by Artlink of Hull and the deadline for entries was 4pm today. I managed to get mine in at about 2.30pm so at least I will only have to wait a week before finding out if I was successful or not! If I am, the works are exhibited for a year, so it’s great exposure for my paintings in the area – there will be a full colour exhibition catalogue available and the opportunity for the artwork to be sold in an art sale.
Artlink Hull can be found on the following web-site where there are often opportunities for artists in the area and beyond:
Tomorrow, I will be delivering 3 of my paintings to Pocklington Arts Centre for possible inclusion to the ERA Affordable Art Show. All paintings must be for sale at under £100, so I am entering “Cool Sticks”, “Mesmerised” and “Primarily Dots” – all of these are mounted and framed, just need to make sure they are labelled before taking them.
East Riding Artists have a web-site with exhibitions and events listed here:

Glad to see you made it in time Aitch! I thought you were cutting it a little fine.
Good luck Aitch! x
Thanks you two. Yes, I was cutting it fine, but I really wanted to enter it and I was rather busy the week prior to this so it had to be a last minute affair, really!
