This weekend is a busy one for me as I will be exhibiting/selling work at the Beverley Art Fair on Saturday and Sunday, also I am taking part in a choral concert on Saturday evening with the Hull Musical Society.
Details of the Art Fair are as follows:
ArtDeCaf is very proud and excited to present and exhibition of Scotland’s leading artists at Beverley Racecourse on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2009. The exhibition opens from 12 to 6pm both days.
Scottish artists, many with international acclaim, will exhibit works ranging in price from £500 to £8000 and will include Peter Howson, John Bellany CBE, Alexandra Gardner, James McDonald, Joe O’Brien, Ronald Smith, Marc Dorrian and others. Please feel free to research any of these artists, see their current works, their provenance and their value.
Local artists will also be represented and include Giuliana Lazzerini, Jan Jeffray, Helen Davison, David Thomas, June Hammond and Jill Ford.
The Beverley Art Fair aims to offer top quality art with provenance at affordable prices.
Hosts of the Beverley Art Fair, ArtDeCaf, will be opening their new gallery at 5 North Bar Within, Beverley on June 20th with a celebrity launch party. To be added to the guest list, please send your details to gallery@artdecaf.com.
I will be exhibiting a selection of my abstract artworks from my “quintessential” collection – all paintings contain black, white, red, yellow or blue as their essential colours.
Expected attendance is well over 1000 for the weekend, so hopefully I will be reporting back with some success on Sunday evening! I am looking forward to meeting several new artists and a few local artists that I have not yet met.
