Please do pop by and take a look at my ethereal and coastal landscape work if you are in the area. The whole trail looks set to be very exciting with a diverse range of work for sale and lots of special events.

You can collect an Arts Trail brochure from any of the venues taking part (look out for the numbered stickers and posters in their window) or from Interior Angle Gallery, 23 Wells Street, Chelmsford. The trail runs until Sunday 26th September 2010.

Remember Me

I’m currently concentrating on producing work for the Chelmsford Arts Trail 2010. The paintings shown here are all based on Essex rural and coastal scenes. Although I haven’t decided exactly which pieces I will exhibit yet (the Trail starts in September) I want to build up a collection of works to choose from when the time comes. I’m very much enjoying expanding on my floral themed landscape paintings and plan to create a few more incorporating wild flowers.

Working out of his studio on the Suffolk coast, UK artist Peter Williams expresses himself using a broad spectrum of media including photo realistic pencil work, however he is best known for lively and dramatic watercolours.

Entirely self taught he gains inspiration from his immense interest in the great outdoors, wildlife and particularly horses. Along with portraiture his eclectic portfolio is packed with interest, attracting collectors worldwide.

The threatre owns two lockable glass cases, suitable for displaying smaller artworks. Most of the paintings from my works on paper collection are on display plus a few from my mini art collection and a few larger coastal landscape paintings on canvas board. I’ve also included several items from my wearable art collection – colourful corsages and button pin brooches. This eclectic exhibition runs until the end of March 2010 and all works are for sale.

It was our first visit and a wonderful experience. There was a lot to fit in, and despite the heavy snow fall we managed to see Central Park, Battery Park, Times Square, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Statue of Liberty, Flatiron Building, Rockefeller Centre and ice rink, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building plus visit the Magnolia Bakery (and eat yummy cupcakes!), Macys, Bloomingdales, Tiffanys, Fat Annie’s Truck Stop, Century 21, Soho, Greenwich Village and 5th Avenue. After years of watching American TV – especially ‘Friends’, ‘Sex and the City’ and ‘Will and Grace’ this really was a dream come true for me!!
