Today is the receiving day for submission to the 59th Haltemprice Annual Art Exhibition held at the Civic Hall, Cottingham, East Yorkshire. This exhibition runs from 23rd to 31st October 2009 and the primary function of the exhibition is to encourage local artists. The Official opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday 22nd October at 7.30pm by the Chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Councillor Chris Matthews.

I know it is a daft question to ask, but does anyone know who got the vote for best of show at the 59th Haltemprice, tis just that I’d like to know!

Sorry, I haven’t a clue, I’m afraid. I know it wasn’t me, and that’s about all I can tell you! I wouldn’t even know how to find out now, either. Perhaps next year we ought to ask them to inform all entrants after the event?
